Aptasutra 895

The Soul (Atma) is the same as the sentient absolute supreme Soul (chetan-parmatma). Not a single attribute of the Soul can be imitated. What can be imitated is the attribute of the non-self body complex (pudgal). Speech is a 'tape record'. Thoughts are a 'discharge'. That, which discharges; is all non-self body complex (pudgal).
